Role and Responsibilities
* Work in close partnership with Finance Managers, Supply Chain Operations, Financial Shared Service Center (FSSC) and Head of Financial Control Tech Ops to support the business in key financial decision making.
* Support the Finance Manager in leading the delivery of the Financial Plan for the Entity by proactively providing relevant and timely financial information to inform data driven decision-making.
* Support the Finance Manager in ensuring the company has accurate and timely financial data available as a decision base to steer business, sustain operations, and safeguard the organization's assets.
Accounting and Reporting
* Review Inter-Company transactions, mismatches, and reconciliations. Work together with the FSSC and the Finance Managers to resolve issues and ensure discrepancies are solved.
* Assist the FM with account analysis and review of balance sheet reconciliations.
* Assist the FM with month-end reporting.
* Ensure efficient operational accounting processes in collaboration with the FSSC and data flow to the FSSC. If not under FSSC, support and drive the transition.
Statutory Audits
* Assist the Finance Manager in the overall process of the Statutory audits.
* Follow up on queries with External Auditors and when required with the business.
* Assist the Finance Manager with meaningful analysis of data to be submitted to the External Auditors.
Others
* Partner effectively with all stakeholders including non-Finance, FSSC and colleagues internationally.
* Partner with the FSSC to ensure the agreed accounting services are delivered satisfactorily.
* Proactively identify and manage financial risks & opportunities and propose measures to improve financial performance, governance, and controls.
* Contribute to projects as required and carry out any other reasonable tasks as needed.
* Proactively work with Finance Managers, FSSC and Supply Chain Operations to identify process improvements.
* Deputize for the Finance Manager when required.
What you’ll bring
* Significant post-qualification experience in Business Finance roles.
* 5+ years of experience.
* ERP (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and BPI tool experience (e.g., Power BI, Tagetik).
* Sharp analytical skills with an eye for detail and good problem-solving skills with business sense.
* Advanced Excel Skills.
* Strong sense of integrity, responsibility, results-oriented, and capable of working under tight deadlines.
* Self-organized and works well under pressure. Able to operate independently with high levels of personal accountability.
* Proactive with a sense of urgency.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Unquestionable integrity and personal ethics.
