Particularly low turnover in staff and vacancy only created because of a retirement. Purpose of the Job: As part of the Maintenance team the Electrician will assist in problem solving activities on key technical equipment and provide support to maintenance teams on technical equipment when required. They will work closely with all staff in each area to ensure the smooth running of core business plant, maximise the utilization of machinery and equipment, proactively work to eliminate plant downtime and make improvements to the processes. Key Skills & Requirements: Qualified time served Electrician with relevant experience in an industrial environment Edition Qualification Experience of three and single phase motors Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems. Experience in troubleshooting installation, fault finding, and repairs Able to read electrical drawings. 40 hours a week, shift pattern is as follows: Rotational Shift:Monday to Friday (Dayshift) - 06.00 to 18.00 Monday to Thursday (Nightshift) 18.00 to 06.00 Saturday and Sunday as needed i.e. cover holidays Rotational after familiarisation and training will be monthly except for holidays, which may alter this.
