Electronics Engineer (Trainee on Medical Equipment)

The Role:
* This role is based at the Head Office near Maidenhead, carrying out planned and preventative maintenance of various items of electronics based medical devices and technology.
* You will also work on repairs of more complex issues and breakdown of items that have been return from the Field Service Team, along with carrying out certain upgrades and overhauls on kit.
* The devices can be found in both NHS and Private Healthcare sites, and you will from time to time, travel out with a colleague to attend certain localised sites.
* You'll be trained on vital medical equipment, and you'll be working with a great team of experienced on-site and field-based service engineers.
* Work is electronics mostly, with some bits of IT related works, and basic mechanical repairs on certain kit.
* Full initial training will be provided with ongoing career development.
Package:
* Basic up to £33k

The Ideal Person:
* This role is ideal for a post-apprenticeship or post graduate long-term career position, giving you the opportunity to then specialise in the amazing world of medical device and technology!
* It is essential that you have hands on electronics experience, and certainly know how to act within an electronics lab or workshop environment.
* You will need good IT experience, not just with Microsoft packages, but also with carrying out basic IT software upgrades tasks etc.
* Someone from and electro-mechanical Field Service background who wants to be single site based could be suited for this role,
* A strong understanding of IT networking of equipment would be a benefit but is not essential.
* Applications must live in a reasonable commuting distance of the Maidenhead area Head Office, or be willing to relocate (no relocation package available)
* Right to work in the UK is essential – no sponsorship available (sorry).
