Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Supervisor role at Cambridge Satchel for the opening of a brand-new store in the stunning Victoria Quarter. The Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, ensuring quality control, and optimizing processes to meet production goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support the Store Manager in driving sales and maximising opportunities in the store whilst working together to meet targets.
2. Inspire the team to deliver a high standard of customer service, ensuring that every customer receives the best possible experience during his or her visit.
3. Accountable for supporting all team members, training colleagues, and adhering to company guidelines and procedures.
4. Provide excellent service in-store, ensuring it is delivered from every member of staff.
5. Understand store targets and strive to exceed them weekly and monthly.
6. Communicate targets and key information to the team through daily briefs and updates.
7. Manage the team to maintain high performance during the Store Manager's absence.
8. Support and challenge the team to build customer relations and deliver perfect service.
9. Build relationships within the team and throughout the company.
10. Inspire teamwork and motivate staff to ensure good morale.
11. Lead by example, ensuring the team are brand ambassadors.
12. Assist with store reports and provide analysis of sales and customers.
13. Maintain confidentiality of financial reports, targets, and products.
14. Identify key lines and use VM guides to maximise sales opportunities.
15. Maintain high standards on the floor at all times.
16. Keep the store commercial, appropriate to the guidelines.
17. Deal with customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner, always striving to retain loyalty.
18. Follow company banking and cash handling procedures and be responsible for their security.
19. Contribute to a safe working environment by adhering to and implementing health and safety requirements.
20. Maintain a professional attitude at all times.
21. Complete any reasonable duties as requested by the Company, including administration and supporting other sites within the business.
