We are working closely with a Secondary School in St Albans to recruit a Business Studies Teacher to start January 2025.
* Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire
* Start date: January 2025 - happy to start earlier in December if possible
* Contract: Full-time, Temp to Perm
* Pay: £143-211 (MPS1 - UPS1 for Qualified Teachers), paid as a daily rate equivalent through us then salary directly offered with school if taken on permanently
We are specifically looking for Business Studies specialists to apply for this contract - we are open to applications from Qualified Business Teachers or experienced Further Education Teachers.
The role would involve teaching Business Studies GCSE and some A level ideally across Year 7 to Year 13, delivering the Business Studies syllabus to Edexcel. This position would be best for an experienced Qualified Business Studies Teacher looking for their next permanent role.
Could this be you? Do you demonstrate:
* PGCE Qualification specialising in Business Studies, Economics, Finance or subject in the related field
* Excellent knowledge of GCSE Business Studies and A Level Business Studies syllabus would be desirable
* Excellent understanding of teaching Secondary age pupils
* A 'can do' and positive attitude to inspire pupils
* An ability to motivate and inspire, whilst using your own initiative
* Passion for Business Studies
* Willingness to learn and support others
* Patient and friendly attitude
* High levels of resilience and emotional intelligence.
Responsibilities will include:
Teaching Business Studies to students in Years 7 to 13, preparing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and contributing to the overall educational experience.
