Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join Greenwich CAMHS, providing highly specialist care to children and young people. The post-holder will be part of the Adolescent Team, delivering rapid assessments, crisis intervention, assertive outreach, and therapeutic interventions for young people aged 12-18 with severe and complex mental health needs. Main duties of the job Manage a complex caseload, delivering specialist clinical interventions to young people with severe mental health needs. Act as a care coordinator within a multi-disciplinary team, working alongside psychiatrists, psychologists, art therapists, nurses, family therapists, and psychotherapists. Work flexibly, including outreach work, to ensure accessible support for young people and families. Provide specialist advice and support to colleagues both within and outside the Trust. The successful candidate will be a registered Occupational Therapist with extensive post-registration experience in mental health. You will bring strong therapeutic skills, adaptability, and a responsive approach to working with children and young people in Greenwich CAMHS.
