Role: BANK IVF Laboratory Admin Assistant Location: Lister Facility Centre at The Portland Hospital Competitive hourly rate We are welcoming applications for a Laboratory Billing & Admin Assistant to join our IVF Team at The Portland Hospital. If you are keen to get into Embryology, then this is the role for you You will perform a range of technical and administrative task to support the effective running of the clinical embryology laboratory. What you’ll do: To coordinate the billing process for cryo-storage for the laboratory Assist with administration for the expiries for cryo-storage Scan and upload treatment sheets on the centres database system (Meditex) Prepare and check treatment laboratory sheets (and labels) for consents and blood screening results Assist with reporting treatment cycles to the HFEA (using PRISM) Respond to embryology related telephone, email and written enquiries Assist the embryology team with the import of donor sperm from international donor banks Organise the dispatch of frozen samples for genetic testing/DNA fragmentation and return of shippers following delivery of samples. To complete any other duties as requested by the Laboratory Manager. What you’ll bring: Previous office experience preferably in a gynaecology or fertility setting Experience of appointment bookings Excellent communication skills Computer literate Why HCA UK?
