Due to increased projects our client are looking for a Transport Co-Ordinator to join their team. This role may require some travel to our sites in GB in line with the responsibilities of the role Responsibilities: Assume full responsibility of the insurance, compliance and return of all plant and equipment to staff and be able to provide reporting on same, identifying and resolving any issues Ensure plant and equipment are correctly signed out and returned using inspection sheets to assess damage and standards Liaising with suppliers for adequate and up to standard plant and equipment Maintain records evidencing that the plant and equipment is compliant with regulations Produce reports to ensure compliance of plant and equipment checks and assessments Actively check equipment, e.g. harness and ladder checks Review plant and equipment checks and escalate to managers if staff not adhering to checks Process purchase orders promptly for any purchases Oversee the stock in / out from Stores, ensuring Stores person is submitting correct documents Skills & Qualifications required: Significant experience of plant and equipment, including the use and inspection of that plant and equipment A strong team player with initiative, strong organisation and the desire to succeed Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills Commercial awareness and keeping costs to a minimum IT proficient Full valid driver licence Skills: administration compliance maintenance administration Benefits: company pension paid holidays free car parking
