We're actively recruiting for an experienced Fire Stopper/Passive Fire Protection Operative to join our clients team on a permanent basis.
Our client is a leading company in the fire protection industry, dedicated to ensuring the safety and compliance of buildings and structures.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Understand and follow the Scope of Works (SOW) issued by the PFP Manager for respective projects in an agreed timescale
2. Demonstrate a high level of customer service at all times
3. Adhere to provided training and 3rd Party (BMTrada) scheme requirements as per Approved Persons directive at all times
4. Understand manufacturers' drawings and requirements per application.
5. Install passive fire protection systems including fire stopping, cavity barriers, and fire-rated partitions, in line with manufacturers' specifications
6. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of passive fire protection systems to ensure they meet safety standards and regulations
7. Identify and report any deficiencies or issues with existing fire protection systems
8. Utilise own fire stopping experience to identify fire stopping methods to propose to the respective manager/alternate systems of install prior to application as required
9. Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and fire safety documentation
