If this sounds of interest, this could be the opportunity for you The Opportunity An fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Quality Manager- Clerk of Works to join our client's reputable and well-established team of Process specialists continuing to deliver cutting edge solutions to major UK projects. The role This role has been deemed outside IR35 but is dependent on a full status determination assessment. Duration:6 months Rate: up to £40/hr LTD (dependent on a full IR35 status determination) Your duties and responsibilities will be Installation Quality Control Ensure compliance with approved specifications. Ensure compliance with approved drawings. Confirm compliance with current standards and regulations. Ensure compliance with GMP requirements. Ensure Installation is in alignment with client drawings. Ensure Construction Managers are managing and monitoring the process of specific installation checklists. Carry out quality checks and raise non-conformances with the Construction Work with E&I construction management team to ensure that all inspections and quality checks are carried out and non-conformances rectified. Monitor and drive completion of rectification works required to close non-conformances. Working with NEC supervisor to understand, action and close out any Non-Conformances raised. Monitor all works in relation to client and relevant Project Quality Plans. Manage the snagging / handover process. Liaise with Construction Management, Commissioning and Planning teams in relation to the above processes. Liaise with Qualification team and Client teams in relation to the above processes. Monitor close out of defects during the handover process and provide updates and reports to all key stakeholders.Documentation Ensure Project Vendor Documentation Requirements (VDR) matrix is implemented, monitored, and updated in alignment with site progress. Ensure all supply chain / vendors are issued with VDR, monitored by the relevant Work package manager (WPM). Ensure, via the Construction Managers, that the Construction management team are completing all documentation in alignment with any relevant GDP requirements. Ensure, via the WPMs, that all supply chain / vendors are completing documentation in alignment with any relevant GDP requirements. Ensure CTOPS are developed in alignment with VDR document. Manage the progressive compilation of CTOPs throughout the construction period. Carry out regular audits of the site quality files and CTOP files. Highlight any non-conformances and assign actions. Ensure timely close out of any non-conformances found.Team Management Promote a positive working environment within the site offices. Be responsible and embrace our Quality Management business culture. Ensure where required all team members undertake GDP training. Hold Regular Quality meetings with the relevant Construction. Managers and WPMs to review any issues and to monitor close out plans. Maintain a positive relationship with the Client and all Client representatives. Develop a constructive working relationship with the supervisors.You will have the following qualifications & experience HNC in CSA or HVAC or Mechanical Engineering OR suitable NVQ City and Guilds.The setting for the role Risks and Hazards are in line with working on a pharmaceutical and chemical site. These can include noise, slips, trips and falls (high-gloss floors), mechanical hazards, extreme temperature and humidity, pressurised equipment, radiation, chemical, biological, explosive atmospheres, working at height and confined spaces during cleaning maintenance and repair.
