We have a fantastic opportunity for a Credit Risk Analyst to join our dynamic and dedicated team. This is a great job for someone to develop an understanding of credit risk and portfolio management. You will support the management of one of the largest portfolios of insurance assets under management in the UK!
A bit about the job:
This position is a permanent role within the Insurance Wealth Retirement (IWR) function, working in the Credit Risk team. The role offers an opportunity to build a career in credit risk management and insurance investments.
Responsibilities:
* Support credit portfolio monitoring, concentration risk, and ongoing oversight of the existing investment portfolio.
* Data hygiene and analysis with production/development of credit management information.
* Asset class, sector, and region credit investigations.
* Escalation/provide support to aid management action for identified credit risks and/or credit limit breaches.
* Proactive management of credit risk issues/events.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
* Strong analytical and IT skills including Microsoft Excel.
* An awareness of commercial and financial matters - understanding of credit and business sectors.
* Solution driven and proven ability to work as part of a team working collaboratively towards the business vision and goals.
* Financial qualifications or working towards relevant professional qualification would be beneficial.
* Manage workload and relationships in a flexible, dynamic, and proactive manner.
What you’ll get for this role:
* London Salary £40,000 - £50,000, National Salary £30,000 - £40,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
