We have a brand-new opportunity for a Revit Technician to join our established MEP division based in our central London office.
It's an exciting time to be joining the team - we have a proven track record working within London and have exciting plans to grow the team extensively over the next 12 months - this is the perfect opportunity to develop your skills and progress quickly. Our teams benefit from a new central London location with great transport links (10 mins from the Shard and local to Borough station) and work on a variety of building services projects including data centres, healthcare and defence work.
Your role will include:
* Production of 2D and 3D engineering models and drawing using software such as AutoCAD and Revit, Clash detection and model coordination.
* Engage with other Revit technicians, BIM Managers, and engineers to help develop solutions to 3D environment issues and support the development of the group as a whole.
* Support the BIM technology needs of the London office and national team, and educate new starters and graduates around the use of Revit.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
* In depth and up to date knowledge of Autodesk software such as Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks.
* Passion for digital engineering, building information modelling and innovation.
* Knowledge of MEP systems and how services should be routed and coordinated.
* Previous experience working on data centre or mission critical projects is desirable but full training can be provided.
* The ideal candidate will have a BTEC/HNC in building performance engineering or another relevant engineering discipline but we will consider candidates without this qualification who have significant experience in technical drawing production using Revit.
