The People function facilitate talent management, succession planning and employee mobility while defining and overseeing frameworks that support employee performance management, reward, learning and development, resourcing and engagement. At its core, the People function provide support to Employees and Managers, providing critical services such as Payroll, Workforce administration and Time Management. We are currently seeking an individual to join this team in the role of Global Head of Payroll and Delivery Services.
The role holder will work closely with the Head of Delivery Centers and Regional People Services Leads and Regional Service Directors to ensure service is executed to high standards and through the appropriate model.
The successful candidate will be a key member of the People Services Leadership Team and a member of the Employment Tax Forum and People Design Authority.
In this role, you will be: -
* Global Service Owner (GSO) for Payroll, Workforce Administration and Time & Attendance services
* Responsible for the strategy, transformation and continuous improvement of services
* Accountable for service performance, setting KPIs and SLAs and ensuring adherence across ~65 countries
* Accountable for customer service standards and measured performance.
* Accountable for global oversight of Third-Party Performance and Third-Party Risk
* Taking wnership of global Third-Party engagements
* Accountable for the Risk and Control Framework applied globally, ensuring regulatory compliance, adherence to internal and external governance and effective operation of mitigating controls.
* Global SOX Process Owner for Payroll and Workforce Administration.
* Responsible for continuous improvement including digitisation of the services through use of future technologies.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:-
* Deep understanding of the complexities of delivering compliant end-to-end payroll services across multiple regions and countries.
* Design thinking to develop operating models and processes that drive Operational Excellence.
* In depth knowledge of the risk and control methodologies (incl. SOX) and its applications globally to protect our foundations
* Demonstrable skills in strategy development, transformation, and continuous improvement of services.
* Ability to build and maintain strong global relationships internal and with third parties ensuring delivery and compliance from HR and Technology vendors across Payroll and Time.
* Deep understanding of the external market, trends and the future of Payroll and Workforce Administration.
* Strong leadership skills, enabling a high-performance culture where colleagues can be at their best.
* Excellent problem solving and ability to be calm under pressure.
The base location for this role will be Sheffield but other locations considered with a hybrid working pattern.
