About The Role
As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with behavioural challenges. You will collaborate with passionate teachers and dedicated support staff to foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities Of Behaviour Support Assistant
* Assist in the development and implementation of individualised behaviour plans for students.
* Provide one-on-one and small group support to students.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to teachers.
* Participate in meetings to share insights and strategies.
* Help foster a welcoming and supportive atmosphere.
* Employ different instructional techniques to cater to diverse learning styles.
* Keep detailed notes on each student’s development.
Requirements Of Behaviour Support Assistant
* Experience working with students with behavioural challenges.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to establish trust and rapport with the school community.
* Commitment to helping students with patience and empathy.
* Additional qualifications in special education or behaviour management are advantageous.
