Dovecote Veterinary Hospital (Castle Donington)
Dovecote Veterinary Hospital is looking for an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team.
We are a multi-disciplinary referral centre in the East Midlands covering orthopaedic surgery, soft tissue surgery, neurology, oncology, internal medicine, ophthalmology, and dermatology. We have CT and MRI on site as well as direct digital x-ray. We also offer a first opinion service and provide out of hours emergency cover for several practices with our MiNightVet service.
The successful candidate will be a minimum of 2 years qualified and ideally have some previous experience of working in a busy hospital. They will need to be an excellent communicator, a team player, self-motivated with a positive attitude, and confident in all areas of small animal nursing.
This is a permanent full-time role, working 40 hours per week, with a mixture of early and late shifts. Weekends and bank holidays are on a rota including daytime emergency OOH care. Salary £28,000 to £38,000 depending on experience.
