Accounts Payable Manager, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire (Hybrid working)
£300- £350p/day (Umbrella) 3-6 Months
We have an exciting opportunity for a Accounts Payable Manager to join an established and reputable business in Hemel Hempstead. Reporting directly into the senior leadership, this role requires the successful candidate to take full ownership of the entire Accounts Payable function and they will be responsible for the management and development of a small team. This is an interim role for circa 3-6 Months.
Responsibilities
* Improving the efficiency of the processes of the whole PL function
* Training new and existing staff members on best practice to adhere to business standards
* Processing of payment runs
* Management of supplier and stakeholder relationships
* Oversee all reconciliations of key AP accounts
* Oversee corporate transactions and monthly reconciliations
* Set and manager KPIs
The successful candidate will have:
* Proven background in AP management and overseeing a small team
* Knowledge of double entry bookkeeping
* Confident and proactive nature with ability to troubleshoot problems quickly internally and externally
* Outstanding attention to detail
* Professional finance-related qualification is desirable
