Essential Criteria:
1. Good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills

5. Ability to organise and prioritise workload
Desirable Criteria:
1. Computer/IT Research skills
2. Ability to perform flexible cystoscopy independently
3. Experience of teaching clinical skills to undergraduates
4. Experience of NHS clinical governance
5. Publications in peer-reviewed journals
6. Recent involvement in research
7. Evidence of self-directed learning / courses
Experience
Essential Criteria:
1. Can demonstrate successful completion of core surgical training or equivalent
2. Ability to fulfil all elements of the job description.
3. Ability to take responsibility for clinical care of patients and maintain continuity of care
4. Surgical aptitude and attention to detail
5. Ability to support and supervise more junior colleagues in clinical and procedural skills.
6. Understanding of NHS clinical governance and the individual responsibilities it implies
7. Evidence of participation in and response to Clinical Audit
8. Experience within urology at SHO or equivalent level
