If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to join a dynamic and forward-thinking residential construction business, based in Stourbridge.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the Managing Director in overseeing the full finance function.
2. Ensure the smooth and accurate delivery of monthly management accounts and all associated reporting.
3. Manage key accounting processes including month-end reporting, forecasting, processing of sales and purchase ledger functions, and reconciling bank and supplier statements.
4. Prepare and submit VAT and CIS returns, manage WIP calculations, and liaise with external accountants on financial adjustments and audits.
5. Handle day-to-day transactional recording, including journals, sales invoicing, purchase orders, and staff expenses.
6. Oversee HMRC payments and contribute to financial planning through accurate forecasting and system updates.
Qualifications:
1. At least four years of experience within the construction sector.
2. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of pivot tables and databases.
3. A sound knowledge of the Domestic Reverse Charge (DRC).
4. Experience using COINS software is required.
