Job summary Occupational Therapy Technical Instructor 26.5 hours per week. Occupational Therapy Technical Instructor. Permanent contract, 26.5hrs. Band 2 - 3 development post will be considered and expected to be achieved within 18 months (maximum). For the development post you will be expected to complete Diploma level 3 in health and social care to progress to band 3. Main duties of the job The Occupational Therapy Technical Instructor will assist the Occupational Therapist to carry out delegated duties, within the stroke rehabilitation team. They will supervise and instruct the patients in activities relating to their treatment programme and regularly feedback to the Occupational Therapist. The service is part of a strong Occupational Therapy network, with links to the team at the West Cumberland Hospital, as well as the wider health and social care settings across North Cumbria.
