Job Summary
We are looking for an ambitious, hard-working Outreach Assistant to join our specialist team based in Manchester. You will sit within the outreach team and be responsible for building relationships with journalists and outreaching various creative campaigns to land top-tier links for our clients. You will work closely with our Outreach Executives to maintain Kaizen’s outreach standards to drive KPI success.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver the outreach of our creative campaigns to consistently gain top-tier coverage in national and niche online publications in line with personal and client KPIs
* Understand the newsworthy stories behind our creative campaigns to create and execute outreach strategies that will result in coverage for our clients
* Create unique and personalised email templates that match Kaizen’s outreach standards and produce results
* Effectively A/B test email templates for each creative campaign to understand what is and isn’t driving success, adapting your outreach approach accordingly
* Correctly report on the results of your direct outreach efforts from a campaign and personal KPI perspective
* Constantly striving to improve your outreach angles to ensure timely delivery of client KPIs
* Consistently looking for and executing reactive / newsjacking opportunities for our clients
* Adhere to and promote the values of the company
Personal Specification
* Able to commute to our Manchester office 3 days a week during probation and 2 days post-probation
* Creative thinker with the ability to think on your feet
* Team player who is motivated by working with others and a strong communicator
* High attention to detail and pride in your output - your work will be visible to thousands of people
* Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
* Experience in a PR or digital role will be a bonus but is not essential
* Ambitious - you want to contribute to the growth of an employee-owned company
* Organised with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously
