Graduate Cover Supervisor - Full-Time Role
Location: Stockport
Contract: Full-time, starting ASAP until the end of the academic year
Pay: £419.25 - £500 per week

Rated Good by Ofsted, the school is seeking a confident and adaptable individual to take on the role of Cover Supervisor, providing essential classroom support and ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of teaching staff. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates considering a career in teaching or education.
As a Graduate Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in delivering pre-set lesson materials, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring students remain engaged in their learning. While you will not be required to plan or mark work, your presence in the classroom will be essential in maintaining a structured and productive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervising classes across a range of subjects, ensuring students stay on task with the work set by their teacher.
* Managing classroom behaviour in line with the school's policies.
* Encouraging student participation and maintaining a positive learning environment.
* Providing support to students where necessary and addressing any questions.
* Reporting lesson progress and any incidents to the relevant teaching staff.
We are looking for someone who:
* Holds a degree in any subject.
* Has a strong interest in education and working with young people.
* Can confidently manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning atmosphere.
* Is adaptable, proactive, and able to work across different subjects and year groups.
* Previous experience working with young people (such as in schools, tutoring, mentoring, or youth work) is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
