Electrical Supervisor

Salary: From £40,000 dependent on qualifications and experience
Type: Permanent, Full time (37 hours per week)

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a candidate to join bpha’s In House Maintenance Service, who make a difference to our customer’s lives every day by delivering a high-quality repairs service designed around them.
We operate across Bedfordshire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire and surrounding areas, and we utilise the latest technology to ensure that we deliver a great experience for our customers and colleagues.
As an Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day line management of mobile electrical operatives and the contractual management of any associated sub-contractors that deliver electrical repairs within our customers’ homes and/or within empty homes (voids). You will deliver a service that understands the needs of our customers and provides a positive outcome for them.

In this key role, you will effectively develop a highly motivated, empowered, and engaged team that contributes towards delivering our vision and mission, lives our values, and maintains a customer-centric attitude. You’ll ensure our workforce has the right tools, equipment, and materials to do the job. You will proactively plan and ensure adequate resources are in place to deliver an efficient service and be appointed as a qualified supervisor under the NICEIC approved contractor scheme.
We’d love to meet someone with:
* Substantial experience in a supervisory position within property maintenance or a similar service (experienced electricians wanting to move into a supervisory role may be considered).
* An organised approach to work, with a positive attitude and the ability to manage time effectively and efficiently.
* The ability to inspire, lead, and create teams.
* The capacity to positively challenge and promote continuous improvement.
* A strong commitment to excellence in customer service and partnership working with colleagues across the organisation.
* Qualifications: EAS (electrotechnical assessment specification) standard as a minimum.
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation and AM2.
* Certificate in Electrical Installation Parts 1 and 2 (or approved equivalent).
* C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing Certificate.
* C&G Certificate 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations OR other qualification(s) as laid down by the JIB.
* Full clean driving licence.
