A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an Intercompany Account Manager within the Sales Team at Walker Filtration Ltd. The purpose of the role is to maintain, manage, support and grow the intercompany (Atlas Copco group) and intergroup (Walker Filtration group companies) sales and services of Walker Filtration Ltd in line with company strategic targets and in line with its ‘Full Potential Plan’, while simultaneously delivering world-class customer service and support.
Reporting to the Intercompany Business Manager, the role involves day to day interaction with colleagues throughout the business and across all group companies at all levels. Establishing and building strong internal customer relationships and communications channels within the group will be key, simultaneously managing day to day issues that may arise between the factory and its internal customers, while identifying and implementing opportunities to grow the business. The primary objective is to drive greater engagement with our internal customers base, increasing both revenue and service level.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of how the company operates, its products, their use in application and company internal processes and procedures.
* Establish and build strong internal customer relationships and communications channels within the group, maintaining and strengthening existing accounts.
* Key account management.
* Management of day-to-day issues that may arise.
* Answering customer calls and rapidly responding to enquiries and expediting answers and solutions.
* Effective use of the company CRM system to ensure up-to-date information.
* Working with the wider sales team, helping to develop and implement best practice and a consistent approach across both internal and external customers.
* Identifying opportunities for both revenue growth and/or increased profitability.
* Management of those opportunities.
* Data collection and analysis to aid with forecasting, reporting and other applicable metrics and KPIs.
* Any other special tasks, assignments or projects as requested by the company.

Professional Requirements
* Experience in a sales & customer service environment– ideally within a production / technical / engineering environment.
* High level of computer literacy and full working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, TEAMS etc.
* Experience in analysing and interpreting sales data.
* Good standard of education – high standard of written and verbal communication.
* Multi-lingual would be an advantage (although not essential).
