Are you interested in working for an award winning social care charity?
Personal Assistants (Support Workers) have the most important role within Enable by making a positive difference every day to the lives of the people we support. No two days are the same for our Personal Assistants but what we can guarantee is that you will be supporting someone with a learning disability to achieve their goals and outcomes – whatever they may be!
In Elgin we have 6 individuals who live in their independent bungalows requiring full support. They are unique and amazing each in their own way. It is our responsibility to ensure they have the best possible life they can and are supported to achieve the goals they are working towards. We are recruiting for bespoke members of staff for each team inline with our PA Model. Let me introduce you to a couple of people we support and hopefully you think you would be a match.
First lets talk about Declan:
Declan is a huge fan of marvel movies and reciting different scenes. He has an amazing memory for reciting his favourite parts of the movies with different accents. And once you build a connection with Declan he might even let you hear his singing voice which is simply stunning.
Declan is incredibly kind and caring and takes time to get to know his staff. He prefers it if they share one of his passions with him and gains a lot from being able to speak about them with his staff.
We also have Charlotte :
Charlotte has a busy week working Monday to Friday 9am - 3.30pm. When she isn't at work she receives support in the evenings and at the weekend. Charlotte struggles to stay still and likes to be on the go at all time. She has a very busy social life and enjoys time with her family and friends.
At home Charlotte is a fierce competitor at the game frustration and has hundreds of soft toys who she often uses to speak for her. She relies on her staff team for emotional support but also to have fun and be silly with.
About You
If you think you share the same interests and have the commitment, dedication, and above all, desire to support Declan or Charlotte to get the most out of life; then please apply now!
