All you need is some office-based experience and a positive attitude. Day-to-day of the role: Handle sales ledger, purchase ledger, and credit control for a small business. Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and manage payroll. Prepare quarterly VAT returns. Monitor email inboxes and respond to enquiries. Answer phone calls and assist with general administrative duties. Type up quotations and delivery notes. Manage vehicle administration duties, such as booking MOTs and services. Arrange accommodation for drivers. Required Skills & Qualifications: Some office based experience or currently working towards AAT qualification. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a good understanding of Excel. Experience with accounts software (Xero, QuickBooks or Sage) is handy but not essential.
