GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Under the general direction of the Senior Associate or designee, the Associate III will assist in the development, management, coordination and implementation of revenue initiatives for products and projects; both in and out of state.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist in the development, management, coordination and implementation of revenue initiatives, in and out of state.
2. Lead in the analysis and evaluation of data to support projects in and out of state.
3. Lead in the research & development of new business opportunities.
4. Manage assigned projects from start to finish.
5. Participate in the development of agreements between public entities and the University.
6. Assist in the evaluation and respond to grant and business proposals by providing reporting and data analysis.
7. Develop and present success, merits of initiative to staff and clients.
8. Research and develop work plans to implement projects.
9. Coordinate with subcontractors to obtain databases for various revenue initiatives.
10. Lead in the development of project budget projections and actual comparisons.
11. Support Senior Associate with forecasting and product/product pricing.
12. Assist with preparing internal budgets.
13. Participate in training staff (in and out of state) in types of reimbursable initiatives.
14. Prepare federal claims for reimbursement.
15. Communicate with clients about the status of their projects. Respond to client needs and requests promptly.
16. Oversee the preparation of all assigned internal and external reports. Review all reports for completeness, accuracy, and timeliness. Decide the need for new or revised reports.
17. Provide training to other staff on specific subject matter.
18. Participate in the Continuous Quality Improvement program.
19. Perform other duties as required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Masters degree in a business related field, or equivalent experience.
2. 5-7 years experience in a related field.
3. Demonstrated experience in interpreting State and Federal regulations as they apply to public assistance programs.
4. Project management skills and experience in implementing and managing large projects.
5. Demonstrated ability to work on numerous projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
6. Knowledge in general accounting principles and budgeting.
7. Experience in supervision and/or demonstrated ability to manage and motivate staff.
8. Expertise in computer-based tools, including spreadsheets, database management, and word processing.
