The Arcadis Government team have secured a place on the MoDs ECAM Framework (Project Management and Full Design) as preferred supplier on the London and SE Region and Accommodation Theme (National Coverage) for the Defence Infrastructure Organisation.
We have also been appointed on a major programme of Single Living Accommodation for the Army and the team are seeking Project Managers with suitable experience or transferable skills to working on this programme and support with the growth of our Defence business.
Role accountabilities:
1. Work within established financial systems and clear project objectives to produce plans, schedules and track budgets, highlighting variances in order to manage and control project delivery targets.
2. Deliver / assist to manage projects or programmes of work, ensuring appropriate use of resources to deliver the required scope of work within set deadlines.
3. Present any project risks or issues to senior managers to ensure the project is not adversely impacted and ensure the delivery of projects to compliant standards.
4. Use knowledge and experience to review project processes and policies, providing advice to support management in developing and improving processes and systems.
5. Advise colleagues on issues relating to own projects, providing subject matter advice in order to support delivery
6. Collaborate with stakeholders and third party contractors
Qualifications & Experience:

7. Bachelors degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
8. Attainment of OR near attainment of relevant professional certification or chartered status
9. Relevant business experience including management of projects.
10. Practitioner level expertise in a relevant, or transferable, service line.
11. Good communication skills, including the ability to liaise with peers and senior colleagues and build and maintain relationships.
12. The ability to negotiate and manage relationships with external stakeholders.
13. Commercial acumen and organisational understanding.
14. A logical approach and ability to think through complex issues to co-ordinate multi-faceted aspects of projects.
15. Knowledge of own area and a general understanding of wider programme and business.
Due to the nature of the projects you'll be working on, Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) is required. If you do not already have BPSS level clearance, you would need to be willing to go through this process.
