Senior Systems Administrator Program Lead (CAS) In pursuit of a future contract award, Digital Enterprise Solutions, Inc. (DESI) is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator Program Lead to join our team of qualified, diverse professionals. This is a full-time (regular) exempt (salary) position located in Suffolk, VA with potential for limited telework, subject to customer approval. ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide 24/7/365 tier I through III Service Desk support schedule to U.S. and Coalition/Allied users. Staff and manage the Network Operating Center (NOC) Service Desk locations in support of the program across all non-classified and classified enclaves. Provide real-time support of NOC watch operations and or other government designated Service Desk locations, supporting deployed ships and shore-based users via telephone, chat services, trouble ticketing systems, and email across all deployed non-classified and classified (to include SECREL) enclave instances. Provide system deployment and upgrade support for deployable non-classified and classified (to include SECREL) enclave instances. May require staffing outside of minimum/normal working hours due to real-world operations, testing, or at other times set by NOC CIO/Deputy CIO and or NAVIFOR, in coordination with the Contactor PM Lead, and may include weekends and federal holidays. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: To be considered for this position, you must mee t the education and experience listed below: Over ten (10) years of experience providing Tiers I, II, and III Systems Administrator services across a variety of hardware platforms and software programs. BA/BS from a US Department of Education accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other Engineering discipline required. Two (2) years of relevant experience may be substituted for one (1) year of formal education as follows: AA/AS plus an additional 4 years of experience (14 years total). High School diploma plus an additional 8 years of experience (18 total). MA/MS strongly preferred. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below: Ten (10) years of demonstrated experience working with Windows Server; MS Office, Symantec Endpoint, and other third party tools. Demonstrated experience supporting Information Assurance (IA) security procedures, which may include scanning and mitigating actions. Experience working with TeamStudio, Tomcat, JIRA, or similar software (SourceSafe, CVS, etc.) Demonstrated experience in a software testing environment. Three (3) years of experience managing progressively more complex and/or multiple technical programs/projects and responsible for management and control of schedules, performance, and personnel, communicating and interfacing with customers, internal, and external stakeholders for tasks similar to those described in the PWS. Lead responsibilities require candidate to be of positive energy and self-motivated expert who can show a history of, or assessed as taking on initiatives without direction that benefited and exceeded goals; has the skills to comprehend the larger program picture, objectives, mission sets, and positively build and motivate responsible teams to meet goals. Active DoD Secret clearance. IAT II or III certification (e.g., Security, CISSP, or equivalent). ITIL v3 (or later) foundations certification. Relevant AWS cloud foundational certification(s). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates with experience or knowledge in these desired skills will be given preferential consideration: Incumbent experience with NAVIFOR CAS. Familiarity with CAS, NTIRA, CENTRIXS-M, and SECREL systems. Experience with AWS GovCloud, cloud security, and DevSecOps integration. Knowledge of DoD RMF compliance and cybersecurity best practices. Strong background in incident response, risk assessment, and security control implementation. Experience managing IT operations in a DoD/Navy environment. Strong technical knowledge of system administration, database management, and cybersecurity compliance. Proficiency in network security, ITSM frameworks (ITIL, COBIT, or CMMI), and risk management methodologies. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: The compensation range is based on industry compensation data and/or position budget and reflects our commitment to transparency and fairness: The annual compensation range is $115,000 to $135,000, commensurate with education, certifications, and experience. Other compensation may include discretionary bonuses, referral rewards, and spot awards.
