Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Live-In Manager to oversee our charming bed and breakfast. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about hospitality and enjoys creating memorable experiences for guests. As the Live-In Manager, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the B&B, ensuring that our guests feel welcome and comfortable during their stay.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily operations, including guest check-in/check-out, reservations, and inquiries.
Maintain a clean and inviting atmosphere throughout the property.
Prepare and serve breakfast and other meals as needed.
Coordinate housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness and functionality.
Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract guests.
Handle guest complaints and feedback professionally and promptly.
Manage inventory and supplies for the kitchen and guest areas.
Assist in planning and organizing special events or activities for guests.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in hospitality management or a similar role is preferred.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Basic cooking skills and knowledge of food safety practices.
Proficiency in using reservation and property management software.
Reference will be required.
