Johnson & Johnson MedTech | Vision is seeking a Professional Education & Development Manager (12-month Fixed Term Contract) based out of our Wokingham office.

Purpose of the role
In this role, you will support the clinical and professional development of Eye Care Professionals (ECPs) and J&J colleagues to drive ACUVUE advocacy.
What to expect:
* Optimise customers’ and key influencers’ awareness of the clinical benefits of Johnson & Johnson Vision (JJV) products in comparison to competitors’ products.
* Ensure JJVC products are used accurately by eye care professionals (ECPs).
* Elevate the scientific evidence that supports the performance of ACUVUE products.
* Develop and deliver technical training for customers and JJV staff and maintain recognised expertise in the field of contact lenses. Training may be delivered through multiple channels including digital, podium and workshops.
* Utilise the Johnson & Johnson Institute to deliver education programmes.
* Support the Sales and Marketing functions to develop and deliver customer-centric professional plans.
* Ensure strong partnership with local professional bodies and to drive and shape external environment planning.
* Develop positive relationships and partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to support ACUVUE and contact lens category advocacy.
* Develop mutually helpful relationships with education bodies (professional organisations) to improve patient service.
* Lead the clinical/professional elements of product launches.
* Lead colleagues that support the PED function.
* Purpose and activities may alter as business activities change with time.
Who are we looking for?
* UK registered Optometrist/Contact Lens Optician.
* Comprehensive experience in contact lens fitting, including myopia management.
* Demonstrable experience of working successfully in a team and managing project teams.
* Experience developing and delivering education.
* Budget management.
* High verbal and written communication skills.
* Analytical skills.
* Competence in business / technical English (written and verbal).
* Technical/clinical/research experience.
* Higher qualifications in contact lens practice.
