We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Workday Lead Systems Application Engineer to join our growing team, focusing on ERP systems. In this role, you’ll be key in driving the design, build, and implementation of modern SaaS-enabled services for our multi-client, multi-technology environments. Key Responsibilities: As a Lead Systems Application Engineer, you will: Collaborate closely with programme teams and external partners to manage the design, build, testing, and delivery of Financials processes, transforming current setups into future-ready workflows. Lead system requirements analysis, documenting process flows and producing detailed design artifacts, including Low-Level Logical Designs, Impact Assessments, and Data Protection Impact Assessments. Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and third-party suppliers, ensuring clear communication and alignment of project goals. Continuously improve system design and testing processes, ensuring they meet quality standards and comply with governance requirements. Act as a liaison between internal teams, including Customer Services, Training, and system end-users, ensuring seamless coordination across workstreams. Work closely with capacity planning and product development teams to align resourcing needs and priorities with business objectives. Lead workshops, feasibility studies, and project discussions to drive the implementation of new or upgraded products and processes. Essential Skills and Experience: Demonstrable experience with Workday Cloud across modules such as Finance, Workforce Planning, and Analytics & Reporting. Strong stakeholder management, with the ability to collaborate across internal teams, third-party suppliers, and clients to deliver results. Leadership experience in complex, multi-client ERP platforms, including the planning, design, and implementation of both on-prem and Cloud-based enterprise systems. Proven ability to lead meetings at a leadership level, facilitating decision-making, and driving organizational effectiveness. Experience in managing change within teams through coaching, training, and mentoring. Ability to drive quality standards across design and development processes, ensuring documentation and audit compliance. Strong problem-solving abilities with self-sufficiency and initiative, able to handle multiple priorities effectively. Desirable Skills: Previous experience with Oracle ERP (e-Business or Fusion), including data migration and process mapping. Technical skills such as PL/SQL, JavaScript, BI Publisher. Understanding of methodologies like Agile and ITIL, along with capacity planning concepts. Knowledge of integration components, such as PenServer and HMRC. Why Join Us?
