An exciting opportunity hasarisen for a GP to join our innovative, high achieving and friendly practice onthe boarder of Gosport in Hampshire. We are looking for a salaried GP to join our Team.
We are close to major motorway networks and supported by excellent schoolsand colleges. The surrounding area is on an idyllic peninsula being near bothLee-On-The-Solent and Stokes Bay beaches and a short walk to Alver ValleyCountry Park.
We can offer a flexible working day, a variety of routine and urgent carework and would welcome someone with specialist interests who would be willingto help develop services in our Team.
Main duties of the job
Salary Competitive (dependentupon experience) + indemnity + 6 weeks annual leave + 1 week study leave
You will be part of a supportiveteam of 3 GP partners, Advanced Nurse practitioner, practice nurses, PCNPharmacist and an inhouse pharmacy technician.
Deliver patient-centered carefor our population of 9,300 patients.
Have purpose built and spacious surgery
Have a stable and resilient clinical workforce.
Are part of a well-developed Primary Care Network and theextended support team consists of social prescribers, pharmacists, pharmacytechnicians, paramedics, a frailty care team, enhanced access service and homevisiting service.
Use adigital first triage model, with 70% of patient requests arriving via e-consult.
Have afocused management team to drive forward change and develop processes.
This is a salaried position andthe contract will be the standard BMA model for GPs

Qualifications
Essential
1. Fully qualified GP
2. GMC registration
3. On medical performers list
4. Enhanced and disclosure and barring service check
5. Full UK driving licence
6. Ability to work within the changing structures of the NHS and work to the requirements of other regulatory bodies
Desirable
7. Worked in GP practice
8. Ability to input to strategic and practice development requirements
9. Suggest improvements for change in a positive and inclusive manner
