This is one of the UK's leading hospitals for the treatment of individuals, families, and couples facing a wide range of psychiatric conditions.
To be considered for this position, you must be qualified as a Physiotherapist registered with the HCPC and have evidence of CPD, ideally in a mental health service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Receives and responds promptly to referrals, undertaking patient assessments to identify and prioritize patient needs before planning and delivering the appropriate and relevant interventions either on an individual or group basis.
2. Ensure the effective and efficient management and control of junior staff.
3. Maintains and develops close working relationships with other professionals within the multidisciplinary team, ensuring that clinical practice is in line with company policies and procedures and complies with statutory regulations and quality standards.
4. Contributes to business growth by actively promoting the company's therapy service in line with the local unit's business plan.
5. Maintain effective communication links with patients, relatives, carers, and purchasers throughout the patient's rehabilitation.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
1. Experience of working in mental health and ideally an inpatient setting.
2. Able to use relevant outcome measures and evaluation of treatments alongside current evidence-based practice.
3. Capable of working collaboratively with a wider clinical team and have knowledge of other disciplines and their role.
4. Can manage your own caseload, cooperate with other therapists, and supervise Student Physiotherapists to organize, prioritize, and deliver therapy to meet patients' clinical needs.
The successful Physiotherapist will receive an excellent salary of GBP23,462 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent part-time role working 22.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment, you will receive the following generous benefits:
