As our Maintenance Technician, you’ll be a key part of what makes our hotel a welcoming and well-run place for both guests and team members. Whether it’s getting the heating just right on a chilly day or swiftly fixing a flickering light before a big event, your work helps shape the guest experience. You’re the behind-the-scenes hero who helps keep the magic going. What You'll Be Doing · Carrying out daily maintenance tasks and routine checks across the hotel, including bedrooms, public areas, and team member spaces. · Responding promptly to maintenance requests reported by team members or guests – no two days are ever the same · Supporting preventative maintenance plans to reduce breakdowns and keep everything running smoothly. · Getting hands-on with plumbing, basic electrics, decorating, and general DIY duties. · Working safely and responsibly, always keeping health & safety top of mind. · Helping with emergency procedures, such as fire alarm tests and building checks. · Liaising with contractors when needed and making sure work is up to standard. · Being a visible, approachable member of the team who takes pride in every job, big or small.
