Join a leading aerospace engineering business renowned for its innovative aircraft systems. We are seeking a skilled Contract Stress Engineer to contribute to critical projects, including the analysis and optimization of aircraft components. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to apply your expertise in stress analysis while working on cutting-edge aerospace solutions. Key Responsibilities
* Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using Ansys Workbench.
* Perform Yield and Ultimate Analysis to ensure component integrity.
* Execute Fatigue Analysis and damage calculations for long-term performance assessment.
* Analyze Threaded Fasteners for strength and reliability.
* Perform Damage Tolerance Analysis using Nasgro.
* Update existing reports to account for changes in pressures and duty cycles.
What We’re Looking For
* Education: Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
* Experience: Proven expertise in landing gear stress analysis within the aerospace sector.
* Skills: Proficiency in FEA software and thorough knowledge of aerospace regulatory standards.
* Attributes: Detail-oriented with a strong ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
