The Role As a Higher Education Lecturer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education to our students across a range of undergraduate programmes in Sport, Exercise Science, PE, and Coaching, validated by the University of Hull. Your responsibilities will include: Teaching & Academic Support: Deliver engaging lectures and provide personal academic support to students. Curriculum Development: Participate in curriculum planning and development to ensure our programmes remain cutting-edge. Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance and enhancement processes, liaise with external examiners, and contribute to annual programme reports. Student Engagement: Foster a positive learning environment through proactive student engagement activities. Innovation: Develop innovative and creative approaches to learning and teaching. What We’re Looking For Qualifications: A degree in a relevant subject and a minimum Level 2 in Literacy & Numeracy. A teaching qualification and an MSc/MA in a relevant subject are desirable. Experience: Extensive experience in the field of sport, recent CPD activity, and established relationships with external stakeholders. Experience in a higher education environment and delivering CPD training is a plus. Skills: Strong subject knowledge, excellent organisational and communication skills, and a commitment to quality assurance. Flexibility to work evenings and a full driving licence are required. Personal Qualities: Energy, drive, and a commitment to continuous improvement. A team player who can also work independently.
