Senior Quantity Surveyor required to work for Principal Contractor on High Speed Rail London Tunnels Programme.
12 Month Contract - Inside IR35

Senior QS Role Brief:
1. Lead and develop the efficient and effective management and issue of accurate, timely and contract compliant documentation.
2. Work closely with project management and engineering teams and liaise with Employers commercial team and client team.
3. Competent in the application of IT skills to commercial management and the production of project documentation.
4. Assist with preparation of periodic progress valuations and claims for work completed.
5. Produce monthly cost reports, forecasts, and contract budget reports.
6. Maintain effective, accurate cost control.
7. Ensure contractual and commercial risks and opportunities for realising efficiencies are identified to the Project and Commercial Managers.
8. Ensure risk registers and contingency are accurately maintained.
9. Review value management proposals.
10. Identify and provide appropriate, timely information to support change control process.
11. Manage subcontracts from initial placement of order to final account.
12. Prepare, review and complete sub-contract documentation.
13. Prepare and agree interim applications for payment.
14. Prepare and agree final accounts with subcontractor.
Essential Requirements:
1. Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
2. Strong commercial experience with knowledge and appreciation of rail/infrastructure construction projects.
3. Knowledge and experience of NEC 3 contracts.
4. Experience in rail or infrastructure projects.
5. Excellent IT skills.
