About the role: As our Assistant Accountant, you will assist the Management Accountant in the production of accounts for Hills Quarry Products Ltd. Your key responsibilities as our Assistant Accountant will include: Keeping and reconciling cashbook, cash sales ledger & asset register. To maintain up to date reconciliations of nominal ledger accounts. To assist the Management Accountant in the production & maintenance of the accounts. To assist the Management Accountant in ensuring that the company procedures are followed by staff and suppliers and that continuing improvements are made. To assist with the audit process. To raise payments on our banking software for approval. To perform other tasks which may be required to be undertaken by the Finance department. What we’re looking for in our Assistant Accountant : AAT Level 4 or qualified by experience Previous experience as an Assistant Accountant.
