Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (FMCG)
Training and unlimited progression
A leading industrial manufacturing company based in Dagenham is currently recruiting for a multi-skilled shift engineer (Mechanical Bias) to join their current team. The business is growing massively, with several new sites being added this year alone. The company has forecasted large profits over the next 12 months, and the investment into the engineering team has nearly doubled. The company is able to offer extensive internal training, many progression opportunities for maintenance engineers, and the option to move into another skilled role.
This position will require the successful candidate to perform both planned and reactive maintenance on the production line, mostly dealing with mechanical faults, although there is a requirement to assist with electrical maintenance, so the need to be multi-skilled is essential. You will be working on a rotating days & nights shift pattern, with each shift being 12 hours. Added with a competitive salary package and many overtime opportunities, there is also a company pension in place.
The Shift Maintenance Engineer will need for this role:
* Multi-skilled Engineer (MECHANICAL BIAS)
* Must hold an engineering qualification (Level 3 minimum)
* Ability to work days & nights rotating shift pattern
* Can be from ANY manufacturing, industrial OR armed forces background (RAF, ARMY, NAVY, MARINE ETC)
