Must have at least three years of project management experience, ideally in a agency environment. And be able to commute to Guildford, Surrey for three days a week.
Overview:
Orangery is seeking a thoughtful, organised Project/Account Manager with a passion for delivering quality work and fostering meaningful client relationships. You’ll be the backbone to our project delivery across sport, tech and community accounts, collaborating with the wider creative team to keep everything on track and on budget.
We’re looking for a skilled multitasker who can dive deep into the details while keeping sight of the bigger picture. With a positive, can-do attitude and a love for process, you champion best practices and consistently strive for excellence. Your communication skills shine and you have a genuine knack for numbers (yes, we’re looking for someone who actually loves spreadsheets!) – but most of all, you’re a team player. We are a small but mighty team who thrive on team collaboration without egos or stuffy hierarchy. As a certified B Corp, we believe design can be a force for good – and we’re looking for someone who shares this vision.
Your day-to-day…
* Project management - Take ownership for day-to-day project management and client communication. Balance multiple workstreams to make sure everything lands on time and within budget.
* Project setup - Create solid foundations for each project through internal admin, realistic timelines and resource allocation that sets us up for success.
* Client communication - Become the trusted voice of Orangery for our clients, building strong relationships while guiding them through project journeys with clarity and confidence.
* Quality control - Work with our team to uphold excellence in everything we do, sense checking against internal briefs and client objectives.
* Process ambassador - Champion better ways of working across the agency, refining our processes to deliver projects more smoothly and boost team efficiency.
* Budget master - Keep our finances flowing smoothly with insightful monthly forecasts, timely client invoicing and diligent tracking of expenses to maintain healthy project profitability.
* Studio management - Keep our creative engine running through weekly resource planning and time tracking oversight. Make sure we never run out of essential supplies (yes, that includes tea and biscuits!)
We’re looking for…
Someone with a solid background in project management, ideally from a design, advertising or marketing agency. Ideally, you’ll have…
* Interest in sport, technology and community.

* A good grasp of creative processes and an appreciation for design thinking. Knowledge of branding, website and campaign production is advantageous.
* A mind for numbers, a strong handle on spreadsheets and experience in tracking profitability.
* Great attention to detail with the ability to spot an overlooked task from a mile away.
* A team-oriented mindset. You should be comfortable wearing multiple hats and you won’t mind rolling up your sleeves when needed. In our world, no one is too important to make a tea run or set up a client meeting.
* Bonus points: background or interest in any of the following areas: copywriting, social media and marketing, or sustainability.
