Degree, HND, or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Chartered status is a plus. Strong background in HVAC systems, piping, process equipment, steam systems, LPHW, chilled water, and fire suppression. Familiarity with project controls, scheduling (Primavera/MS Project), and cost tracking. In-depth knowledge of CIBSE, ASHRAE, local NI regulations, and health & safety legislation. Proficient in AutoCAD, BIM (Revit/Navisworks), MS Office, and industry-specific mechanical design software. Proven track record in leading teams, managing subcontractors, and engaging with clients. As a Mechanical Lead Oversee the mechanical aspects of the project from initial design review through to completion, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met. Manage and coordinate HVAC, plumbing, process piping, fire suppression, BMS, and other critical mechanical infrastructure. Lead mechanical supervisors, engineers, and subcontractors, ensuring smooth collaboration and adherence to project requirements. Work closely with the client, design teams, and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems into the overall project. Ensure all mechanical installations meet CIBSE, local regulations, and project-specific standards while maintaining best practices in health & safety (CDM regulations).
