Portfolio Procurement has been engaged by our leading Bedfordshire based client to recruit for an Inventory and Purchasing Administrator.
Key purpose of the role:
Contribute towards the improvement of the supply chain function and in turn ensuring an improvement in customer service levels, and the Optomisation of inventory.
Main duties:
Checking and approving proforma invoices with suppliers
Ensuring freight forwarder booking are made on time
Ensuring all costs are loaded on to the system
Management of inventory planning
Working with and supporting suppliers in maximising delivery performance
Skills and experience required:
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
Previous experience in a similar role
Excellent communication skills
Computer literate including the use of Excel.
