About the Role
We are seeking a Group Technical Hygiene Manager to join our business to help drive best practice in hygiene & housekeeping standards across our sites, support the Hygiene Management Teams and maintain relationships with our key suppliers within Hygiene & Technical, such as pest control and chemical suppliers. This will be a mobile role, with a requirement to regularly visit production sites and locations around the country. We have 24 sites throughout the UK across our Poultry, Meals, and Bernard Matthews sites.
Key Responsibilities
1. You will use your excellent communication skills to manage and develop the Hygiene functions at sites.
2. Set company policies and standards for hygiene and plant standards.
3. Audit and inspect the facilities to assure compliance to hygiene standards.
4. Support the facilities and provide guidance when deviations to KPI's require interventions.
5. Provide training to site hygiene and technical teams.
6. Manage the relationship with the key hygiene/service contractors.
7. Manage, maintain and develop relationships with Chemical and Pest Control suppliers.

Key Skills
1. Experienced in a multi-site position would be beneficial.
2. Experience in a Technical or Hygiene position in the food industry.
3. Excellent communicator.
4. Experience working with suppliers.
5. Audit experience/qualifications.
6. Ability to travel UK wide.
