Job Overview
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Treasurer to oversee the financial operations of our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial management skills and experience with various accounting software. The Treasurer will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
1. Manage and oversee all financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established policies.
2. Prepare and present regular financial reports to the board of directors, highlighting key financial metrics and trends.
3. Maintain accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments to suppliers and vendors.
4. Utilise accounting software to manage financial records effectively.
5. Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the organisation's goals.
6. Monitor cash flow and prepare forecasts to ensure the organisation's financial stability.
7. Conduct regular audits of financial processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulations.
8. Collaborate with other departments to support budgeting and resource allocation efforts.
Experience
1. Proven experience in a financial management role, preferably as a Treasurer or in a similar capacity.
2. Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles.
3. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
4. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
5. Exceptional communication skills to convey financial information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.00 per hour
