CABI is recruiting for practical technical support over the spring/summer to assist with management of our living collection of fungi and bacteria. This position is ideally suited to a dynamic individual, with a high attention to detail that is looking to gain an understanding of culture collection operations, working with filamentous fungi as well as an insight into routine technical aspects of the laboratory work involved to support an internationally recognised culture collection of living fungi. The role requires good organisational and communication skills and engagement with scientific staff within the Applied Microbiology team.
