Here at Human Appeal, we have an exciting opportunity for an OCW Data and Fund Manager to join our team based in Cheadle, Greater Manchester. The role will require you to be in the office full time. You will join us on a full-time basis as part of an initial 1-year term. In return, you will receive a salary between £39,950 to £54,050 per annum, dependent on experience.

As OCW Data and Fund Manager, the successful candidate will play an integral role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the Orphan and Child Welfare (OCW) program. This includes overseeing the management of key operational processes, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of program data, and maintaining alignment with program objectives. The role involves drafting and ensuring timely signing of Funding Agreements for regional and field offices, supporting the continuous improvement of the orphan sponsorship methodology, and monitoring internal processes for compliance. The OCW Data and Fund Manager will also conduct regular checks on termination submissions, maintain data quality in Salesforce, and manage the orphan sponsorship termination process, with a focus on minimizing financial impact and optimizing program performance. The Data and Fund Manager will significantly contribute to improving the overall effectiveness of the OCW initiatives. We are ideally looking to appoint somebody immediately to this role.

Key duties and responsibilities of an OCW Data and Fund Manager:
* Act as the main contact for the Orphan Sponsorship Programme regarding data and fund processes for other internal departments (Communications, Donor Care, Finance, Fundraising, Systems) as well as HA’s regional offices (France, Spain, USA).
* Achieve a year-on-year increase in the acquisition and retention of donors to the orphan sponsorship programme.
* Ensure the consistent and timely entry, validation, and reconciliation of orphan sponsorship data in Salesforce, maintaining a high standard of accuracy and completeness.
* Ensure the accurate management of the orphan sponsorship termination process in line with guidelines and identify patterns with a view to reducing the amount of terminations year on year to mitigate the financial burden to HA.
* Regularly monitor Salesforce to identify the highest-priority cases for sponsorship and ensure this information is circulated to regional offices and income generation departments (Donor Care, Fundraising, and Comms) and that they are provided with the coaching to identify these priorities themselves, in order to mitigate the financial burden to HA.
* Ensure accurate financial management across the programme by contributing to the annual budgeting exercise, ensuring quarterly funding agreements and payment sheets are in place, and ensuring that all programme expenditure is accurately reconciled.
* Ensure the delivery of at least two comprehensive donor reports annually, fostering increased engagement, satisfaction, and long-term retention.
* Ensure all regional and field offices sign Funding Agreements on time, ensuring the funds are being transferred from all ROs to HQ and to all FO/Partners from HQ accurately and in a timely manner.
What we’re looking for in our OCW Data and Fund Manager:
* Bachelor's degree, ideally in a related discipline, data science, computer science, information management, statistics, public administration, public information, management, or a related field. A Master's degree is an advantage.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
* Computer literate and proficient in MS Office Suite. Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages, like Python, Java, and Scala is an advantage.
* Excellent written and spoken English. Additional languages are a bonus.
