We are currently seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join a reputable regional main contractor with multiple offices across the South East. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual to take charge of exciting projects in a collaborative environment. The Role: As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of various projects from inception to completion. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, particularly in the industrial steel frame, fit-out, and education sectors. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the entire quantity surveying process for assigned projects, from initial cost estimates through to final accounts. Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring accurate financial reporting and cost control. Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and project delivery. Manage procurement processes and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers. Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any financial concerns that arise. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices throughout the project lifecycle. Requirements: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a strong background in managing projects from inception to completion. Experience in industrial steel frame, fit-out, and education sectors is preferred. Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships. Proficiency in relevant software applications and tools.
