Position Details
Undertake financial responsibility for the multi-million-pound manufacturing business, located in Omagh, Co. Tyrone. Ownership for the preparation of financial information for the business, providing strong leadership to the Finance team, including high-level financial advice, incisive analysis, and input on how to drive profitability and efficiency in the business. Support the General Manager in the running of the business, provide leadership for the ongoing strategy for success and help to grow the business. Provide key support and work with customers and dealers to support sales while maintaining financial control.
What you'll do
1. Lead and direct a finance team of 5 Financial & Cost Accountants, including financial and management accounting processes, P&L and Balance Sheet review, and variance analysis.
2. Ensure complete financial control is maintained including compliance with applicable GAAP, corporate accounting policy and audit requirements.
3. Oversee monthly reporting for site, and communication of results to all stakeholders.
4. Oversee the Monthly R&O and quarterly forecasting process.
5. Participate in formulating and delivering business strategy.
6. Drive business improvement and support this through the provision of accurate and timely financial information, working closely with the cross-functional managers.
7. Provide support to commercial decision-making processes and business development.
8. Provide accurate Machine Costing information.
9. Implement cycle counting procedures.
10. Ensure annual planning and budgeting process is delivered on time and matched to delivery of strategic objectives.
11. Manage the working capital cycle of the business with particular focus on inventory and receivables control and management.
12. Provide cash flow analysis.
13. Support successful implementation of new IT systems and structures.
14. Establish credit limits, resolve disputes, and monitor collections.
15. Support and approve all Capex strategy.
16. Oversee monthly reporting for site, commercial and brand packs.
17. Enable tracking of brand sales and margins by model, discounts, etc.
18. Provide support on monthly sales and operating (S&OP) reviews.
What you'll bring
1. University degree.
2. Qualified Accountant ACA, CIMA, ACCA (or the international equivalent).
3. Significant experience as a financial or business analyst. Operational experience within business would be advantageous.
4. Must have expert Microsoft Office Products experience, specifically with Excel, Outlook, Power Point and Word as well as the ability to learn corporate ERP system.
5. Evidence of comfort and familiarity around top management.
