If the answer is yes, please read on and get in touch today to avoid missing out The Opportunity Due to continuous project expansion, our client is currently searching for a proven EC&I Designer to become responsible for liaising with a multi-disciplinary Engineering team, where you will be producing Engineering Design Packages (specifications, drawings, analysis etc.) that comply fully with UK requirements and standards. This role is offered on a full time, contract basis. You will be based out of our clients’ offices in Warrington. The contract is for an initial 12-months with a high probability of being extended into 2026/27. Employment Type: Contract This role has been deemed inside IR35 Duration: 12-months (Rolling) Location: Warrington The role As a Senior EC&I Designer, you will be responsible for producing input and guidance from the engineering design team, engineering design work packages (specification, drawing, analysis, verification or assessment of engineering) that satisfy the legal and functional requirements along with the associated performance conditions to the agreed time, cost and quality. You will have the following qualifications & experience HNC or evidence of substantial experience with a high emphasis on EC&I engineering. Significant Experience in the use of AutoCAD. Must have significant demonstrable experience in CE&I Project Delivery. Experience of the design delivery of building electrical services. Competent in the application of CDM Regulations. Competent in the application of IET wiring Regulations. Experience of space management, panel layouts, cable routing, cable management and cable calculations.It’s great if you also have the following Experience with Control Systems. Experience delivering against BS 61508 &/or BS 13489. Experience in delivering in accordance with Sellafield Ltd Management System. Have the ability to work as part of an Integrated delivery team, and individually, working within sometimes restrictive time constraints. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Have strong interpersonal skills and be able to interact with people at all levels.The setting for the role Risks and Hazards are in line with working on a nuclear licenced site. These can include, nuclear fuel, radiation, chemicals and gasses, high voltage equipment, moving vehicles, flammable materials, high pressure circuits, steam, high noise and vibration levels.
