Consultant in Radiology - Cross Sectional with Head & Neck Interest
We've been assigned by one of the best performing NHS Trusts in the UK to help them recruit a Consultant in Radiology - Cross Sectional with Head & Neck Interest on either a Substantive or a 12-month NHS Fixed Term basis.

The client's Department of Radiology consists of a main department at the main site and two satellite units at other smaller sites. The Department offers all radiological modalities (apart from CT/PET, which is sourced from private facilities in nearby sites within West Midlands). The Department of Radiology forms part of the Clinical Support Services Directorate with Pathology and Pharmacy.
The appointee will be asked to fulfill various duties, which may include:
1. Contributing to the delivery of teaching and supervision of radiology SpRs assigned to the department.
2. Providing clinical teaching for medical students and non-radiological junior doctors.
3. Demonstrating firm involvement in Clinical Governance, Risk Management, and Clinical Audit.
4. Providing general Radiology services as part of the radiology team, including consulting and advisory services to clinical colleagues.
5. Contributing to the provision of specialist head and neck imaging services, including image-guided biopsies and FNAC.
6. Further developing services within the trust and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to maintain the highest standards of care.
